An undisclosed AFL team is out searching for a new head legal counsel after the previous hire into the position quit within seconds of reading the shared group chat.

Clarke Croyden, a 39 year old Lawyer and family man stepped down from his new found job after what he described as “some very concerning shit.”

His comments come after he was shown the contents of one of the player’s group chats this week.

“It’s as if they have access to a different version of the internet to me. Some of the images and videos being circulated made me feel unsafe,” a clearly shaken up Croyden told us.

When we asked for examples he refused to comment specifically.

“There were some concerning references to swapping,” he sighed.

Clarke explained that from a legal standpoint just the contents of this chat would get the team in trouble, let alone the things they felt were too far gone to share here.

“I cannot imagine the things they choose not to share. One of the players sent a message into the chat then quickly deleted it, and that terrifies me.”

More to come.
