LONG HAIR DON’T CARE: A local mum is the talk of town of late as friends and family started noticing her new social identity as a self-proclaimed hair and scalp expert post moving to the Sunshine Coast. Brenda Johnson, 52, has a newfound secret to long and healthy hair she can’t help but share with her online community.

Leaving many to question whether her secret isn’t the miracle products she’s now using or her revolutionary hair care routine, but rather it’s the fact that she’s now balls deep into a multi-level marketing (MLM) scheme.

Friends and family, have been bombarded with endless posts promoting the supposed wonders of Beauty Bombshell’s haircare products. From hair serums promising Rapunzel-like locks to hair and skin supplements claiming to be the holy grail of hair growth, Brenda’s feed has become a virtual billboard, one swipe up affiliate link ad promo code at a time.

“It’s amazing, really,” remarked one of Brenda’s distant cousins who wished to remain anonymous.

“I always just thought it was genetics… She always had such luscious locks when we were growing up. Now I know it’s all thanks to those ‘miracle’ products she won’t stop raving about.”

Brenda’s close-knit circle has become accustomed to her daily stories and posts, each one a testimonial to the MLM’s products and the life-changing opportunities it supposedly offers.

“Sure, her hair looks great,” commented a childhood friend. “But I’m not about to sign up for a pyramid scheme just to achieve that.”

As Brenda continues to share her “secret” with the world, one can’t help but wonder if the true secret to long hair lies in avoiding ponzi schemes altogether.
