In a tragic twist of fate that has left local single woman Sophie Hutton (28) devastated, the same relentless daily Victorian spam call abruptly stopped gracing her phone screen.

For the past several months, Sophie had developed a special kind of bond with the mysterious phone number that would call her every afternoon for the past 18 months. The unyielding commitment of the spam call became a cornerstone of her daily routine, filling the void left by the absence of a significant other.

“Did I do something wrong?” Sophie tearfully confessed, while clutching her phone.

“Every day, at the same time, I’d hear my phone ring, look at the number coming from Victoria, and hang up. That was our deal, it was perfect.”

The disappearance of the spam call has left a void that no amount of social media notifications or hinge matches can fill. Sophie has now found herself signing up for every pop-up iPhone competition or local milfs in her area ad, in hopes that getting her number into scam caller circles could bring a new potential daily caller.

“You could say I’m in the market for a new daily spam caller. I’m looking for someone who will call consistently and won’t call back until the next day after I hang up. I’m a woman of routine and that’s what I look for in a spam caller” Sophie said.

In a surprising turn of events, the spam call company issued a rare statement expressing their deep regret over Sophie’s heartbreak.

“We never meant for Sophie to get so hurt over this, we didn’t go into this thinking it was serious and we need to work on ourselves for a bit, it’s not her, it’s us.” Said a spokesperson for the scam calling syndicate.
