The two equally matched teams of the 2023 NRL season are primed to go head-to-head in the grand final tonight, and there is more than the Tina Turner musical on offer for extra entertainment value.
Earlier in the year during State of Origin game two, Panthers five-eighth Jarome Luai and Broncos fullback Reece Walsh got involved in the little shoving grapple that NRL fans have unfortunately had to accept as the standard of biffs these days.
The push, shove and headbutt ended with both players sent to the sin bin while receiving polar opposite reactions from the crowd at Suncorp.
And now with the two poised to meet again for the first time this Sunday, fans and neutral lovers of biff have confirmed it is time for these two lads to go back for round two.
“Most NRL players wait until they retire to start boxing but there’s really no need,” stated Betoota rugby league writer and one game veteran of the Betoota Dolphins, Carnston Catch (43).
