Local man, Toby Kovacs has raised the suspicions of his girlfriend this week.
The local boyfriend and engineer from Betoota Heights has done so after strangely developing a keen interest in the Bachelor finale tonight.
This comes after at least a month of complaining about having to watch the popular reality tv show.
It can be revealed exclusively by The Betoota Advocate today that the young man’s interest in who the ‘Honey Bachelor’ chooses is not because of a new found love for one of the contestants but because of his degenerate gambling habit.
Kovacs refused to confirm how much and who he had dumped on ahead of the Badger making his decision.
“I don’t wanna talk about it, but put it this way, if my bet loses and Lauren finds out how much, I’m gonna be in a bit of curry,” he said.
“But I think it’s gonna be all good, because one of my mates knows someone who knows one of Nick’s sister’s boyfriends, and he has a good line on who Nick chooses.”

We asked the young man’s girlfriend Lauren Watson about the sudden change in mood from her boyfriend.
“Oh, he has obviously put a bet on it. He hasn’t cared all season long, and Brooke was the only one he vaguely liked because she seemed ‘amazing,’ and now he is ordered us takeaway to watch it at home tonight,” she said.
“Put it this way, he is now heavily invested because he has heavily invested in one of these girls. I’ll just look through his phone when he falls asleep tonight anyway.”
