An undercover bogan family from North Brisbane have this week proven just how loyal they are, after it was revealed that they’ve managed to stick with the same car brands and dog breeds for the past 20 years.

Chatting to the house patriarch, Phil Sampson, 45, who humorously has the word ‘loyalty’ tattooed on his forearm in cursive font, our reporter asks if he’d ever considered buying anything over than a Toyota, or adopting a dog outside of the Staffordshire family.

“Why would you try to fix something that’s not broken?”,queries Phil, as he lovingly pats the head of his firstborn staffy, Zeus, “we’ve always had staffies.”

“They’re good dogs.”

“If you like something, you should have multiple of them.”

This statement is certainly true when looking through Phil’s garage, which features two Toyota’s, four Yamaha motorbikes, and a mini bar filled with various strains of Jack Daniels.

“My dad owned a Toyota, I own one, and my son will probably own one too.”

“It’s a tradition.”

More to come.
