In an act of community service, local codger Lazurus ‘Laz’ Kemp (68) has taken his Ford Falcon out for a drive to nowhere in particular, with the goal of teaching today’s youth a thing or two about music.

Teeing up a song he loves more than his eldest son, Laz wound his windows down and cranked the volume up, ensuring all shoppers in the carpark of Betoota Ponds BI-LO would have TNT by AC/DC cranked into their earholes like the Youngs and God intended.

Many shoppers report being delighted upon hearing the rock classic being pumped out of Laz’s Falcon but wanted to especially note the dedication Kemp seemed to have as a listener of the song.

“He really hit those “Oi”s, every last one,” stated one onlooker, in reference to the track’s iconic backing vocals.

“I stopped the kids, I said “look kids! Listen to what that man is doing it’s really important!””

Other witness accounts describe Kemp’s “oi”s as neither too long or too fleeting, rather a perfect moment made of the appetising mix of guts and grunt.

When asking Laz Kemp about his song choices he remained humble and stated that kids today have a lot to learn before they just start chanting ‘Oi’ willy-nilly.

“Yeah mate, I was banging the oi’s out back when Acadaca were belting out tunes at the RSL playing for piss, you shoulda bloody seen it mate, no joke Bon Scott up to his tits in tits, geez it was rock ‘n roll back then not like the soft shit you get these days which is all just made with plastic mate never even been in the same room as an electric guitar, let alone hitting a perfect ‘oi.’” stated Kemp, adjusting his genitals at least five or six times during the conversation.

“We used to open for them actually.”
