A local porkchop has lost a few Instagram followers today after having a very public squeal about International Women’s Day.

Owen Bogsworth, a single 34-year-old who keeps a seat warm at a data entry firm, has gone on blast on social media this morning reposting some prehistoric views on why it’s really important to focus on men’s precious feelings on the day that celebrates the empowerment of women.

Despite his algorithm usually feeding him content on carnivore diets, glitchy clips from pyramid scheme “entrepreneurs” and the odd video of a bear wrestling a low-grade UFC fighter in a forest in Eastern Europe, it’s believed some content celebrating International Women’s Day slipped through to the keeper and straight into Owen’s chumpy face.

So burred up after reading some quotes by Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Rupi Kaur posted by the people in his family who are far more successful than him, Owen thought he’d fight the good fight and dip into the toxic well of global Tiktokker, misogynist and human trafficker Andrew Tate.

Sharing some quotes he found on Reddit onto his own Instagram story, Owen quickly lost the room with several women who forgot to unfollow him after he took them on the world’s most boring date at a putt putt course.

“What a toad,” said local Business Analyst Bella Saunders, who begrudgingly went on a drink with Owen six months ago out of sheer boredom, “I forgot to unfollow that knob.”

“Who the fuck is @BoggaBruffMann?” questioned local Occupational Therapist Elise Garcia, a girl who accumulated a list of sleazy followers last summer when she put her Instagram handle in her dating profile.

“Oh that guy, the one who asked to split the golf bill after I wouldn’t go for more drinks after. That is another benefit of International Women’s Day, it always helps with a good friends list clean out!”

More to come.
