After another defeat at the hands of our neighbours across the ditch, Australia has issued some strong and swift retribution.

Following the annual humiliating loss at Eden Park over the weekend, Australia has retaliated by sending New Zealand into a snap lockdown.

Realising that we would be keeping our hands off the Bledisloe Cup for a 19th year in a row, it’s believed authorities acted quickly to ensure that the Sydney Sneeze was sent straight to the land of the long white cloud.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced a snap 3-day lockdown for the entire country yesterday after the Sydney case successfully landed in NZ.

“They can enjoy their silly trophy all they want,” said a member of Rugby Australia who was involved in the covert operation.

“I hope it was worth it,” he laughed, following the cross border case trafficking.

“We’ve had enough of getting flogged by the All Blacks, especially at Eden Park where they seem to schedule every game we have to play against them.”

The RA official then explained that plans were underway to prevent the All Blacks best players from travelling over for the dead rubber in Perth.

“Will force them to pick from the local talent they’ve sent over here, and then will see how they go.”

More to come.
