Following the announcement of 4 new 2020 flavour releases including Murray River Salted Caramel (which presumably has less water than other flavours), Arnott’s are returning to their roots with a new flavour of Tim Tams; Tim Tam flavour.

“We were looking for a new flavour experience and were inspired by our core demographic: people that buy Tims Tams because they like the taste of Tim Tams,” explained Head of Marketing David McNeil.

“The new flavour really captures the essence of eating a Tim Tam and I really think that when Australia tastes these new biscuits they will really be transported back to a time when they purchased a packet of Tim Tams and then ate at least one”.

The new flavour will be rolled out to Australian supermarkets from February, although whilst the taste is expected to be a hit, consumers may be disappointed when they open the packet; like all Tim Tam special flavour releases, the packet will contain 9 instead of the regular 11 biscuits.

In a statement, Arnott’s said that despite fewer biscuits, the product “will retain the original pricing structure to stay true to the authentic Tim Tam experience”.
