Forget Austin Powers, the real international man of mystery is the ‘Random Souths Guy.’

That fabled guy has today appeared in the crowd at some Table Tennis tournament in the heart of the three Gangnam districts within the South Korean capital of Seoul.

For a few years now, the random fan has been appearing in the crowd of sporting events across the country and the globe sporting a South Sydney Rabbitohs Jersey.

It is still uncertain as to whether the ‘Random Souths Guy’ is one man, or a well-oiled organisation of men who pop up on television screens in the crowd, with some bandying around conspiracies about South Sydney owner Russell Crowe pulling strings behind the scenes.

The man appeared in the crowd at Day 2 of the South Korean Table Tennis Tournament sporting a relatively new Bunnies Jersey.

Our South Korean Correspondent initially tried to make contact with the Bunnies fan, but he vanished into the crowd.

Initially dismayed, our young reporter eventually found him at the bar and questioned him on his appearance at the event.

“I just got a mate over here and I had nothing to do for the day while he was at work so I just came down,” the jersey wearing man named Phil Olive said.

Olive said he wasn’t sure about the whole Random Souths Guys conspiracy.

“Yeah I guess I am the Random Souths Guy,” he laughed.

“But nah I’m not in some group or anything.”

Olive held firm on his line and our reporter could not divulge any more information from him.
