Inaction right now will cost the lives of countless Queenslanders, that’s the message that South-East Corner Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk is receiving today from people all over the nation’s greatest state.

Speaking on behalf of people in that part of Queensland, a young Brisbane woman has demanded that Annastacia put up a wall to stop the “diseased rat people of the south” from coming up to Queensland with their sickness.

“Annastacia,” said Yeronga student Melanie Clarke.

“Hard border now. Chop chop. My grandpa is not ready to die,”

“If someone from Sydney comes up here and it spreads and kills people, it will be your fault. Well, of course, it’s Gladys Berejiklian’s fault first but you could’ve prevented the virus from getting here,”

“Now is the time to tell border communities to suck eggs. Tell them to have a sook down the street in the park where only the pigeons can hear them. We’re talking about the safety of Queenslanders. Sure, Sydney and Melbourne are nice places to visit. You can wear cute jumpers and whatnot but right now, they can both go and get fucked,”

“Ball’s in your court, Premier. Do the right thing and cut us off from the rest of the world until we are vaccinated. Inaction now will cost lives.”

The Advocate reached out to the Office of the South-East Premier for comment but have yet to receive a reply.

More to come.
