The National Rugby League has today promised to get a big name from this year for 2029 or 2030.

This comes after mid-2000’s pop bad One Republic just rocked the Grand Final as the pre-match entertainment.

The band behind the hit song Apologise from 2007 put on quite a decent show, to the surprise of many, and that performance has led the NRL to confirm that they’ll get someone currently at the top of the charts for next decade or the one after.

“Ryan Tedder just brought the house down,” said an excited NRL Spokesperson.

“Initially we wanted Wolfmother but they weren’t available and Justice Crew said they didn’t feel like it, so it’s pretty incredible that we were able to get these global superstars!”
