AFTER A LONG WINTER of disappointing sporting results for the nation, a Brisbane corporate’s hopes and dreams for Australian sport have been buoyed by three quick wickets this morning at the WACA.

Both Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazelwood picked up wickets in today’s first session, which sent Johnno Townsend’s Hutchinson worksite into a frenzy.

The 26-year-old-RM-riding-boot-wearing-project-manager threw his hands up in glee, bolding stating that he thinks the national sporting form is coming back.

“Nah, but yeah, mate. The Wallabies had a rough run over the winter, you know. Getting towelled up by the All Blacks and the Bocks and shit.” he said.

“Then the cricketers got flogged playing white ball in South Africa. It’s good to see a bit of form returning.”

“Yeah, I’mm calling it now, but. The private school boys will get their Grand Slam over in Europe, Cheika’s got his plums out on the butcher’s block as it is. We’ll bend the Proteas over and send them packing for Jo-berg in the red ball game. We’ll flog every cunt in the Commonwealth Games, again. Shit’s on the rise, mate.”

More to come.
