Taking a break from the benzedrine inspired steak-eating marathon that can only be described as the peak of human achievement, author, professor and noted transphobe Jordan Peterson (58) has announced he might check out this Harry Potter stuff now hey.

Famously penned by British author J.K. Rowling, the Harry Potter series has sold over 500 million copies worldwide, becoming the best-selling book series in history and capturing the imagination of children and fan-fiction writers everywhere.

Although the final book of the series was published 13 years ago, it has not stopped Rowling from writing a series of forgettable whodunnits, a fan-fiction quality stage show and a series of vilifying tweets against transgender rights.

Now Jordan Peterson wants to see what this Hogwarts hype is all about.

Thumbing through the first entry in the series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Peterson found it hard to believe the book was in fact written by a transphobe.

“She seems to have demonised this Malfoy character and decreed they battle with wands instead of sitting down to discuss the facts,” stated Peterson.

“Also the sorting system grants entry into one of four houses instead of the scientifically acknowledged two.”

At the time of writing Peterson states he is not enjoying reading Rowling’s children’s novels as much as her tweets but will keep reading until he gets to ‘this Umbridge character’ he’s heard so many good things about.

MORE TO COME.
