The team that always seems to win, has won the AFL grand final, as Queenslanders packed out the Gabba for historic relocation of ‘the big dance’.

This comes off the back of an incredible performance from their best player who the commentators said always plays well in the big games.

Richmond beat Geelong by 31 points in the AFL grand final in Brisbane last night to clinch a third premiership in four years.

This was largely thanks to the guy who won the man of the match medal (known as the Norm Smith Medal by southerners) – Dustin Martin who kicked a few big goals and brushed off plenty of Geelong players.

“Yeah wow, he was really good,” said one drenched Brisbane fan Lote Lockyer last night.

“He was way better than those other two or three Geelong guys that people said were good.”

“I reckon Dusty could crack it in league too if he tried.”

“Pretty good game though, normally they seem to be 100 point drubbings, so good that it was a game last night.”
