A group of no good skater youths have expressed a strong preference for being persecuted by old boomers rather than being subjected to the awkward attempts at friendship by hip gen-X men.

“I’d take a ‘Do you know we pay taxes for that curb you’re destroying!’ from a boomer any day over a Gen-Xer trying to tell me about his skate days,” proclaimed Tim Gotsis (24) as he blocked traffic with one hand and signaled to his mate he had space to land with the other.

The sentiment was echoed by Tim’s fellow skaters, who all nodded vigorously in agreement.

“Yeah those weird trendy dads that ask us to let them use our boards only for us to watch them risk their lives, to impress us.” Said Sam Papadopoulos.

“At least with Boomers that scream at us we can get some good content and a bit of hi-jinx footage for our videos!” Said their resident cameraman Eli Cobden (22).

The uptick in anti Gen-X sentiment is not just isolated to the skate community. A growing number of Gen-Z and Gen Alpha are beginning to get a little sick of their parents’ generation thinking they’re so much cooler than the generation above them.

“It’s like, boomers at least have this authentic disdain for us, you know?” explained Sam.

“These Gen-Xers are just so cringy with their Star Wars, craft beer and trying to seem edgy.”

Meanwhile, news about this new found appreciation for boomers has only served to piss them off even more, which many skaters are hoping will result in a lot of good content.
