A local woman’s quest to get some thrush cream has ended up being a lot more difficult than needed today, after a pharmacist decided to give a step by step rundown to pretty much everyone in the line, it’s reported.

Evelyn Schmidt [26] says she’d gotten a case of the itchies (which pretty much every woman deals with multiple times in their life), and had stopped into a nearby Chemist Warehouse for what she thought would be a pretty quick visit.

Only, it definitely was not.

Though she’d tried to quietly enquiring for some Canesten, Evelyn was quickly treated to a round of very intrusive questions.

“What are your symptoms”, queried the pharmacist.

“Ahhh, I’m itchy”, said Evelyn, casting an awkward look at the bloke behind her to see if he’s listening.

“DISCHARGE?”

“Ah, um…yes.”

“Have you used thrush medication before?”

“…yes.”

“When was the last time you used thrush medication?”

“I don’t know? A year ago?”

“Would you prefer a thrush pill or a thrush cream?”

“Um…cream.”

“One day, three day, or five day thrush cream?

“…three please.”

Briefly walking off to grab the cream before tapping at some random shit the computer, the pharmacist hands over the cream and resumes her attack.

“The thrush cream comes with three applicators, to be used once a day.”

“Yep.”

“These applicators go in your vagina.”

“And if it doesn’t work, you might need a thrush pill.”

“YEP THANKS OKAY.”

“Thrush”, the pharmacist says once more, for no reason.

Hastily grabbing the packet of cream, Evelyn curses under breath, wondering why the fuck they can’t just have Canesten on the shelves instead.

More to come.
