WHO KNEW: South Bondi’s newest Perth expat, Chloe Hempshaw, recently uncovered a startling truth about Sydney.

Her new ‘home’ is a littleeeeee bit more diverse than Cottesloe.

Dressed in her signature Angus and Julia Stone-inspired hat, Hempshaw expressed her surprise at Sydney’s vibrant mix of cultures.

“I mean, who would have thought Sydney was so multicultural?” she told Betoota.

Having always championed diversity from her insular family mansion in West-Perth, Hempshaw confessed, ” Sydney’s people are just so diverse, it’s like kinda overwhelming lol.”

“I mean, who would’ve thought the war in Palestine would even concern anyone in Australia’ she continued.

“………I feel like I have seen more Middle Eastern and Jewish people in Bondi the last week than I have seen in my entire life!’

Navigating Sydney’s cultural maze, Hempshaw, like many Perth transplants, finds herself harking back to simpler times in WA, when diversity meant choosing between sourdough or multigrain bread.
