Despite a plethora of lawsuits and federal charges piling up on his desk, former President Donald Trump has today made it official that he will be back for a second run at the US Presidency in 2024.

The 76-year-old announced his candidacy moments ago during a live press conference live at Mar-a-Lago, the same resort that was raided by the FBI earlier this year.

It appears that the 2024 campaign is more important than any other for Donald Trump, and will mean the difference between dying in the White House or dying in a Federal prison.

The Republican nominee is currently facing a total of 19 legal actions – half of which allege improper conduct and severe abuses of power during his presidency from 2016-2020.

For the most part, Trump is facing charges for extreme financial wrongdoings which allowed his family to make money out of his title. However, he is also being investigated for his role in that cringeworthy January 6 2021 insurrection – as well as his alleged interference in the 2020 election.

Short of filing endless countersuits to delay these cases, Trump has very little options outside of getting elected again and pardoning himself for everything.

Today’s announcement in Florida has only confirmed one thing: Ya can’t stop an honest crook.

Donald Trump has proven that with enough money and a complete lack of shame, you can live completely outside the laws of the land – and be celebrated for it.

Today’s news has also sparked yet another delicious Republican nomination battle, as Trump will be competing against the establishment’s golden boy Governor Ron DeSantis in the state of Florida.

After a poor midterm election performance by Trump’s hand-picked candidates, it seems the old trickle-down war hawk conservatives might be getting ideas that their party can survive without The Donald’s electric charisma.

It will also be fun to watch Donald Trump Vs Rupert Murdoch, now that Fox News have also decided he has expended his political usefulness.
