Betoota Heights woman Renee Hawthorn [27] has today announced she plans on passionately belting out multiple Lewis Capaldi songs at Splendour in the Grass this year, despite being in a healthy seven year long relationship with her partner, Nathan.

This comes after SITG dropped their lineup this morning, which includes Lizzo, Mumford & Sons, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Flume, Tove Lo, and Hilltop Hoods, to name a few.

Talking to our reporter, Renee says she’s most excited to see ‘Lewis’, after watching his documentary, stating that he ‘seems like a stand up guy.’

“He hasn’t come to Australia in years so I’m very excited”, she gushes,, “though I can’t really resonate with any of his songs as I’m in a very healthy, long term relationship.”

“It’s been a long time since I’ve had my heart broken, but I get the vibe.”

Adding that she’s also excited to scream the lyrics to ‘Truth Hurts’ by Lizzo at the top of her lungs, Renee says she’s warned Nathan ahead of time not to take it seriously.

“I’ll have to remind him again before we get there, that when I’m singing about having my heart stomped on, or men being shit, I don’t mean him.”

More to come.
