A five person share house in Betoota Heights has found themselves learning to live with rubbish this week, after yet again failing to find a way to fit it all in the wheelie bin.

Despite being on top of their recycling, the residents at 82 Daroo Road have been unable to fit a week’s worth of rubbish into their red wheelie bin, and have had their request for another bin knocked back by their landlord who fails to understand why they can’t find a way to cram it in – or just eat less.

Considering the residents are in their middle to late twenties and not eighteen years old, at least the rubbish is placed in the pitifully tiny courtyard and not left to rot in their kitchen. Though this ‘out of sight, out of mind’ tactic means that they sometimes forget it’s there entirely – not to mention the large amount of cardboard boxes and beer cartons they’ve got stashed out the back.

Luckily, with all the shit weather we’ve been having lately, they don’t have to worry about guests finding their secret stash of trash, as the courtyard won’t be used by anyone except their mates who vape and they won’t smell anything other than artificial grape anyway.

More to come.
