South Australian premier Steven Marshall says he is “fuming” after it was revealed that the entire state had been pranked by a classic pizza worker

Today it can be revealed that a worker with the spicy lung had lied to contact tracers about how close he had been to an infected case, and triggered one of the harshest government reactions to an outbreak in the whole country.

Mr Marshall said the man was one of the cases linked to the Woodville Pizza Bar, and that his porkie pies sent the state into a six-day lockdown.

It has since it was discovered the man was instead an employee who had worked several shifts alongside a contagious case, and not a customer who had caught it in passing, as was initially documented.

“To say that I am fuming about the actions of this individual is an understatement,” Mr Marshall said.

“The selfish actions of this individual have put our whole state in a very difficult situation.

The Premier said this whole mix-up has absolutely nothing to do with any failures on the government end, and “is purely because the worker LIED to the government for NO REASON and is in now way related to a language barrier.

“His actions have affected businesses, individuals, family groups and it is completely and utterly unacceptable.”

Three new cases of coronavirus were announced in the state on Friday, with all three in quarantine.

Mr Marshall announced, in light of the new information, the planned six-day lockdown would instead end on Saturday night.

“I will not let the disgraceful conduct of a single individual keep SA in these circuit breaker conditions one day longer than what is necessary” said Marshall, earlier today.

However, since the news broke this morning, news cameras have been parked outside the Woodville Pizza Shop waiting to ambush this stupid unskilled worked who LIED to the world renowned contact tracers.

However, instead of the lying degnerate hospitality worker, the media were met with the shop’s owner.

“Hey guys” said the manager, as he began pointing to the light post.

“I just wanna say..”

“Look up at the secret cameras”

The press conference then lit up into cheering as Hollywood star Ashton Kutcher then ran out into the middle of the car park.

“Haha we got you guys so good!”

“You’ve been PUNK’D!”
