A number of senior Pepsico executives have spoken to The Advocate candidly this morning about the latest controversy to rock the company regarding Kendall Jenner commercial.

Using the tragic 1984 accident where Michael Jackson’s hair caught alight during the production of a television commercial, one executive said that maiming the greatest selling artist of all time pales in comparison to what they produced with Kendall Jenner earlier this month.

“It was a bit of an oversight,” said the executive, who asked to remain anonymous.

“Being arguably responsible for Michael Jackson’s descent into obscurity isn’t half as bad as what we did with the Jenner. We managed to offend almost every major and minor ethnic group in American in just 60 short seconds. At least we could play that MJ mishap off as an accident, but we’ve really shit the bed this time.”

The Advocate reached out to Kendall Jenner’s publicist for comment but have yet to receive a reply.
