Ahead of tonight’s showdown match up against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, the Canberra Raiders have loaded up the Viking Bus and rolled into Sydney’s Western Suburbs.

Knowing full well that they are going to have to bring their A-game against the Doggies at their home ground, the Raiders fans have been brainstorming new ideas to pep up their players.

While their age-old Viking Clap has done wonders for the club since it’s inception in 2016, the club is needing a little bit more of a kick, which is why they’ve come up with this cool new catch cry.

“It’s coming home”

The new motto implies that the The Provan-Summons NRL Premiership Trophy is coming home to Canberra, home of the current Nation Rugby League competition as we know it.

“We created the NRL technically because we played in both the NSWRL, Superleague and NRL” said one high-ranking fan club Facebook page operator, Blake Griffin.

“We are actually working on teaching all the fans a song that we’ve found with lyrics that are similar to our new catch phrase”

Our interview was cut short by the roar of the Raider’s Valhalla horn, which means it’s time to start the clap.

“Gotta go” he says.

“It’s coming home”
