Parramatta Eels legend Peter Sterling is looking at the silver lining of tonight’s game, he told The Advocate just moments ago.

“It’s been stressful,” he said.

“To say the very least.”

The Penrith Panthers are just moments away from becoming the second team in the professional era to secure back-to-back premierships after the Roosters.

“Well look, my hair has grown back,” he continued.

“And I’m not talking about peach fuzz. Just look at it. You could lift me up by it. I thought you would’ve had to have gone to Turkey to get hair implants to see these types of results,”

“Anyway, there’s always next year. I might even put this up in a man bun for summer [defeated laugh] Yeah, I guess that’s not really funny right now.”

More to come.
