Property developer Richard Karmshark might need to pop to the dry cleaners on the way home after saturating himself in his own drool at spotting a public housing block with a nice view.

Attending his 15th industry awards event in as many months aboard a boat in Betoota Harbour, Karmshark couldn’t help but notice an ‘80s era apartment block with a gorgeous view of the water.

For context, public housing buildings were once built in idyllic areas as it was believed that having a diverse group of people would make a community better. However, with recent studies showing that all gentrification really does is bring in a better crowd, the last couple of public housing precincts within CBDs feel about as welcome as Paul Gallen at an Origin Greats meet up.

One person who is delighted to see a community housing tower with a nice view is Karmshark who knows the building is only a boozy lunch away from being luxury apartments.

“Would you look at that,” stated Karmshark, his agape mouth flowing like a stream after rain.

“The view from that place would be amazing. Too good to give away for free.”

After a little research and a change of shirt and pants, Karmshark learnt that the housing block has been in need of an upgrade for years and that he might be just the man to do it.

“Aaaah beware the fable of King Midas. Be careful what you wish for foolish peasants…”

MORE TO COME.
