A local man has proved he is actually a local God after popping the question to his long time partner on a Sunday evening to ensure the subsequent announcement would receive peak social media engagement rates.

Once the goal of the world’s brands before they remembered profits are a thing, social media engagement is defined as the percentage of social media users who interact with a post they have seen.

Sunday evening is one of the times that social media users are the most engaged as many people welcome any distraction from the fact they have to go to work the next day. Lucky lady Sophie Hatley (27) will have to do no waiting at all, as her fiance/king of kings Wilkin Bumblefoot (29) proposed mere hours before peak Sunday social traffic, allowing time for the happy couple to get the photo just right.
