Coles and Woolworths have been put on notice to “do the right thing” as Prime Minister Anthony Albanese signals he’d be willing to intervene to break up supermarket duopoly.

This follows as catastrophic ABC 4 Corners investigation on Monday night that saw the CEOs of both supermarket giants arrogantly defending their practices. The Woolworths CEO has since announced his resignation as a result of the backlash caused by his mid-interview tantrum.

Four separate reviews, including a competition watchdog price inquiry, into the conduct of the supermarket chains are currently underway.

However Bob Katter MP, The Independent Member for Kennedy in North-West Queensland, has offered his own solution to the corporate exploitation of the Australian people at the hands of these two companies.

His short quote can be seen in the headline above.
