AFL great Barry Hall has been sacked by FM radio network Triple M after saying some pretty weird shit on air about a colleagues pregnant wife.

Hall’s comments were so weird that there were people that were actually offended, while listening to a worksite rock music radio station’s broadcast of a football match.

At the time, Hall was speaking to former St Kilda player and co-commentator Leigh Montagna during a pre-game chat ahead of Friday night’s clash between the Western Bulldogs and Geelong at Etihad Stadium.

Hall’s remarks has today made everyone wonder if he’d really be the type of bloke you’d take fishing, or is he a bit how ya going.

Triple M have since sacked Hall from his commentator job. With many really hoping he thought the mic was off at the time.

“Tonight on Triple M Football, there were unacceptable and pretty suss comments made by a member of the commentary team,” head of content Mike Fitzpatrick said in a statement.

“The commentator was removed immediately from the broadcast and an apology was issued on air afterwards.

“Immediate action was taken with the termination of employment for one team member who was, to be honest, a bit of creep”

Reaction on social media was swift, with most choosing not to repeat the comment due to its inappropriate nature.
