Eligible Australians will be able to access special vouchers to be spent at strip clubs under a new Federal Government scheme that aims to help create jobs for an industry that’s done it tough this year.

The announcement follows the release of similar State Government schemes designed to bring patrons back to restaurants and entertainment venues.

Under the plan, which is believed to be the first of its kind, applicants can log on to their MyGov account to access the vouchers which can be downloaded and printed in the form of 50 $1 “Platinum Bucks” vouchers or 2 $25 Private Show vouchers.

“I think it’s a great idea,” said economic stimulation enthusiast Matt Carlin.

“I don’t have any plans this weekend so me and the boys will head to the city and do our bit to arouse the economy.”

In announcing the Erotic Stimulus Package, Treasurer Josh Frydenberg, who once saw a strip club on an episode of Law & Order, said the scheme was essential to kick-start the industry.

“Right now it’s very limp but if we really grind away we could see some exciting results.”

So far all states and territories have signed up to the scheme, with the exception of South Australia, which has agreed to join as soon as a lap-dancing establishment has been constructed.
