Ahead of his second sold out Brisbane show at Suncorp Stadium tonight, English pop star Ed Sheeran has been spotting feeding a sneaky hunj into the iconic Where’s The Gold poker machine at the Broncos Leagues Club in Red Hill.

It is believed that Ed Sheeran was ‘bored as shit’ in the rainy weather, and felt the need to have a slap over a few jars, while his security detail smoked durries on the deck and watched Family Feud on the outdoor screens.

“Fuck. Shittest feature” Sheeran told our reporters.

Sheeran, who is a big hit in Brisbane because he looks like an average bloke but apparently gets heaps of chicks, says he’s really enjoying getting to know the place between shows.

Last night, the bit unit spent over $6000 on food and drinks at a much-loved Brisbane Gambaro Seafood Restaurant, before trotting across Caxton street to Suncorp Stadium.

According to a source, the party of 10 ate a meal of barramundi and prawns while sipping on Penfold Grange, which cost about $1000 per bottle, with the bill totalling about $6000.

Following the gig, Sheeran was seen bouncing between Lefty’s and the Caxton Hotel, after being warned to stay away from the Valley unless he’s being looked after.

Tonight, after meeting his NRL hero Wayne Bennett at the training sheds at Red Hill, Sheeran has been allocated two Brisbane Broncos under 21s to guide him and his entourage through the nightlife district, without fear of any trouble.
