The topic of attractiveness and honesty has come up for debate in a Perth gym this week.

Rickie Sloan, an aspiring fitness model sparked this conversation when after “getting a pump” he mentioned to the group at large “Make-Up is a lie, it’s all a trick. You wake up next to these birds the morning after, and they look completely different.”

“I just for once want a girl who doesn’t try to play games. I’m all me, there’s nothing to hide here.” Sloan added unconvincingly, given the unnatural orange tinge around his knees and elbows from a poor spray tan.

“I met a chick last week and she gave me a phone number that was fake! Classic female move, how will she ever get to see me again if I can’t call her.”

Soon after this chat Rickie went to his “money spot” in front of the mirrors where the lighting “hits so hard” and took up to 600 selfies in different poses.

“The trick is to keep your Tinder updated with fresh pics, that way when you make a new account you might be able to have a second crack at girls who’ve swiped left in the past.” explained Sloan.

Following the initial stage of photography a seemingly larger amount of time was spent editing the photos to highlight “boulder shoulders” and “quadzillas.”

Fingers crossed Rickie has luck finding his similarly down to earth soulmate somewhere out there.

More to come.
