Despite never having had any interest in doing anything that remotely involves the ocean, local woman Kayla Stewart has always secretly harboured a desire to be a hot surfer chick – namely, the hot Billabong surfer chicks she saw in her old teen magazines, or plastered on the walls of City Beach.

As a frequent viewer of shows such as Blue Water High, and early 2000s bangers Into The Blue and Blue Crush (there didn’t seem to be many names available), Kayla had loved the idea of waking up early each morning, rummaging around in a bottom drawer for a string bikini, and traipsing down to the beach to talk shop with a bunch of equally casually ripped surfer buddies – all while maintaining an effortless golden tan, and sun bleached, tousled beach waves.

However, seeing as she neither lived near a beach nor did she have the kind of complexion that would result in her developing an enviable tan (maybe just if freckles all conjoined into one big one) Kayla was never able to live out this fantasy – but that doesn’t stop her from wistfully thinking about it.

“Seems kind of nice, living the simple life.”

“Throwing around some shaka brah’s.”

“Being super hot.”

“I could get around that.”

More to come.
