One of Australia’s favourite sons is making the most of a well deserved trip home, it can be confirmed.

Fresh off preventing Arsenal from winning the English Premier League, Tottenham Hotspur coach Ange Postecoglou has returned to Australia for a bit of a holiday.

After a long and testing season for the first year coach of the Spuds, Ange has brought his squad down for a couple of friendlies against fellow Premier League side Newcastle, and an A-League All Star team.

While maligned by English pundits for the hectic travel involved in two friendlies right off the back of the season, Ange has been relishing the opportunity to get back to Melbourne.

The former South Melbourne Hellas prodigy has reportedly taken the opportunity to catch up with a few malakas from back in the day.

Heading down to Jims armed with a bottle of Agiorgitiko, Ange popped into the Collingwood institution for a bit of a session.

Shouting his tight arse mates who haven’t made it to the top of English football, Ange reportedly told the boys they were having the set menu tonight.

With plenty of glory days stories being shared, it’s alleged Ange was also offered some sage advice on coaching, and plenty of plans he can implement in the upcoming season.

The group were last spotted shouting ‘yamas’ before moving on to a roasting of the divorcee on the table who is a bit too much of a kamaki.

More to come.
