The Prime Minister is today being applauded for mending his relationship with the Premier of Australia’s second-most populous state.

Following his long-running feud with Daniel Andrews, Scomo managed to do so by sending him down some special Russian tea leaves.

The pair have gone toe to toe over a number of issues, most notably the hot potato blame game over the handling over the Covid-19 aged care crisis, but now look set for a friendly new chapter.

“I just thought it was a nice gesture, something little, but something from the heart,” explained Morrison this morning.

“I hope he enjoys it, and then I hope he stops firing shots at me.”

The Prime Minister then denied his Russian tea leaves were anything like what Russian Opposition Leader Alexei Navalny consumed overnight.

The Opposition Leader and anti-corruption campaigner is in intensive care after consuming a tea that contained something pretty crook, which surprisingly Vladimir Putin has absolutely no idea about.

“Nah mate, nothing like that, just a nice Russian Caravan,” laughed Morrison.

“If I wanted to do that I woulda sent it to Albo hahaha”

“Nah just joking, no point doing that, waste of a dose, I don’t even know what the bloke’s up too,” finished Morrison referencing the fact Federal Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese has been pretty quiet over the last few months.
