There are scenes of devastation at Betoota Airport today after a group of mates have been called to their gate to before finishing their round of drinks.
It’s believed one man is particularly distraught as it was he who bought the first 3 beers which cost $100.00.
Ben Bradley, the mate who started the round, was heard desperately trying to convince his two other friends to just finish the round.
“We won’t even start boarding for another 30 minutes”
“Come on, we’ll just neck them.” He added.
“No mate, we don’t have time” replied one of his friends.
Witnesses say Ben’s friends told him to just cop the loss.
While it is unfortunate that Ben is out of pocket, it’s not an entirely unexpected scenario at the airport.
It’s common knowledge that airports are the most expensive places on Earth to buy anything, so expecting to come out of any visit without being ripped off in some way is just naïve.
It’s not yet known whether Ben has come to terms with his financial loss, we’ll keep close to the story as it unfolds.
