Keeley Benson’s cool new plan of buying a van and maybe driving it around Australia has today proven to not be enough of a rebrand for her to get over the fact that Bradley cut things off midway through the proposed 18-month long distance thing they were trying out.

The 31-year-old medical technology saleswoman disappointed friends with this new idea, as most thought she was well and truly over her former club promoter turned crypto investor boyfriend.

Friends say the break-up took about two months, roughly 15% of their actual relationship, and the plan to set herself up so she could go sporadically roadtripping only came after she was talked out of quitting her well-paying job to become a yoga instructor.

While their protests against the idea fell on deaf ears, it appears that after her first trip on the roads – Keeley has realised this shonky old bit of junk isn’t going to bring him back.

“Iluka isn’t even that good” she says.

“I spent like 10 grand buying this van and the one town I had in my head to visit was Iluka. It’s just got a Maccas and a couple beaches with seaweed all over them”

“I got like four speeding fines. There’s no cruise control in that thing”
