Being convinced by a deadbeat lover to the breach public trust by tipping over 5 million tax-payer-dollars into ineligible rural community grants is an unfortunate scenario that any one of us could have found ourselves in.

That’s according the Point Piper-based hedge fund manager, Katherine McKatherines (57).

“Why is it only Gladys that goes down” she says.

“What about all the other politicians?”

“Why doesn’t the State Government’s independent corruption watchdog tap their phones for 5 years?”

As someone who hates misogynistic old men almost as much as she hates inner-city public housing commissions that damage the value of nearby property investments, Katherine says Gladys Berejiklian represented a rare example of feminine Neoliberalism in a politically correct world where most female politicians are the type that don’t like taking their husband’s last name.

“I just don’t know why they can’t overlook this one little thing” says Katherine, in reference to the former NSW Premier allegedly pouring the equivalent of 40 public school teacher salaries into the unnecessary renovations of a Wagga Wagga clay target shooting club.

“As a tax-payer and voter, I’m willing to give her a pass on this”

“We all know a man like Daryl Maguire… I’m just glad I’m not in her shoes because the same thing could have easily happened to me”

Like hundreds of thousands of die-hard-Liberal-voting corporate Sydney females, the last two months since Gladys’s resignation have marked a mourning period for Katherine.

But today, she is trying to stay strong. Katherine has managed to last a full day without posting a 1000-word Princess Diana-style tribute to Gladys Berejiklian on LinkedIn.

“I sent flowers to her office today instead.” she says.

“My last couple of bunches wilted in that harsh Willoughby sun. So I’ve sent some natives this time around”

“They cost a bit more but I’m willing to drop $500 on a decent arrangement if they last long enough for Gladys to see them before she gets replaced by a 25-year-old Young Liberal named Hugo who thinks that abortions should only be available for those with private health insurance”
