The President of the United States is now under investigation for obstruction of justice says the Special Counsel investigating Russia’s interference in the US election.
In response to the news, Donald Trump has blasted his Russian counterpart.
“In the many phone calls I had with the Russian president over the course of the election and my presidency, he made personal assurances to me that it wouldn’t be this hard,” said Trump during a White House media conference.
“There’s been like four terrorist attacks, a sitting Republican senator was shot yesterday, now my own government is accusing me of obstructing justice. I mean, can it get any harder?”
President Putin was unavailable for comment when The Advocate reached out this morning but his media advisor said a statement would be released later today.
