Russian Bot Operators Forced To Re-Spawn In The Gulag

A number of social media bots are making their way back online, after drone strikes on a major Russian data centre this week.

Those strikes allegedly lead to a downturn in online bot activity, as the murky forces behind the modern social media swarms quickly tried to get back on track.

Much speculation has been made about that downturn effecting One Nation, who aren't keen to boast about their offshore army of avid Aussie social media patriots.

Regardless of the effect upon the online discourse, tech experts have now confirmed that bots are making their way back online, after a quick test of their reflexes.

"Yeah, we have been informed that bot operators have been forced to re-spawn inside the Gulag, and fight their way out," said tech wiz and adjunct computer Professor at South Betoota Polytechnic's School of Computers and Stuff.

The Gulag, is a popular gameplay map from the incredibly popular Call of Duty game, which sees players fight each other for a shot at redemption and reinstatement to the previous map.

In this case, players who lose are forced to make a new account under an Aussie sounding name or business with 3 posts, no followers and a raft of misinformation to spread in the comments section.

"It's quite the inconvenience to have to make a new burner account, but these guys are pros," explained the professor.

More to come.
