From Brisbane to the stunning beaches of the Sunny Coast, a strong seismic movement has been detected.

Geophysicists at the Betoota arm of the CSIRO have confirmed that they’ve picked up a noticeable movement on the richter scale over the last couple of weeks.

The spikes have reportedly coincided with Dolphins NRL games, and have been growing each time.

Local Geophysicist Nundah Everton explained that he believes there’s a strong and undeniable connection between that activity, and the 5 game win streak the Dolphins are on.

“Ahhhh yeah mate, I think it’s pretty safe to say that the Phins are well and truly up,” said Everton, in reference to the popular hand gesture replicating a fin moving through the water.

“The last two weeks have seen noticeable seismic activity off the back of Dolphins fans throwing a Phins up, multiple times a game.”

Everton says the form of the Dolphins spine combined with the sheer ticker of the hard working forward pack and prodigal hit up merchants like Herbie has Phins absolutely humming.

“And as a result we are bracing for a couple of big spikes tomorrow night with the Chooks coming to Suncorp Stadium to play a red hot Dolphins team.”

“Yeah sure they are missing a few guns, but Izzy (Katoa) has been released from Blues camp and the Chooks are plenty down as well.”

“Pretty dreamy Friday night at Suncorp Stadium for a Dolphins fan if you ask me.”

“Well pretty dreamy for anyone really. Friday night footy after a couple of jars on Caxton street.”

“Anwyay sorry I’m getting distracted.”

“Yes, happy to confirm that Phins are well and truly up.”

“And long may it last I reckon. It’s good for the game.”
