The nation's newest opposition leader has shocked the political establishment once again this week.

After a big few days of working people into a frenzy over the concept of a monoculture - Pelican Pauline has taken some time to unwind.

The One Nation leader has done so by heading down south to a little place called Coorong, on South Australia's isolated southern coast.

Mixing it up from riding on her 2 million dollar jet courtesy of Gina Rinheart, the Pelican has caught a couple of tailwinds and updrafts to find her way down to the chilly south.

The cause for the trip is apparently the Pelican's newfound friendship with a young lonely boy named Mike, who is living amongst the coastal wilderness.

However, rather than befriending a young fella about to manipulated by algorithms and content designed to make him feel angry and emotional, the Pelican has formed a touching bond with a kind wildlife loving soul.

It's also believed the new chapter for the Pelican might also see her ushering in a newfound love for our First Nations people and the environment - with allegations she's already grown fond of a fella called Fingerbone Bill.

Concerns have been raised though that it could all come crashing down if Mike gets radicalised by the actions of some duck hunters or gets sent off to boarding school.

The pelican was unavailable for comment, and is apparently just enjoying some time unwinding from the helter skelter world of grievance grifting.

More to come.
