Over two years after signing their lease, a sharehouse in Betoota’s french quarter have finally completed all six seasons of ‘The Crown’.
The five housemates, all aged 26, are calling it quite the feat.
“Based off our schedule, all five of us are home together maybe once every 2 weeks,” said Jasper Martin.
“But then on those nights where all five of us are home, some of us will want an early one, or want to watch their own show.”
“Honestly, I thought we would never do it, finish it I mean. Well actually when we started I thought it was the hot show with Timothee Chalamet in his prime and Lily-Rose Depp, but it was actually the one with Princess Diana and stuff, which was still good,” added housemate Lucy Jansen.
“Anyway, I did lose interest a bit in season 5, just because Olivia Colman is the GOAT and I was missing her, but it quickly recovered when I realised how close we were.”
“But yeah. I actually cannot believe we've done it. It’s truly surreal. I feel elated, but strangely empty at the same time?”
“But what we want to say, to any other sharehouses out there right now that are watching a show with heaps of seasons and beginning to feel like they’ve bitten off more than they can chew, just know there is light at the end of the tunnel.”
“We promise, you can do it.”
The group had started holding hands.
Slightly unsettled by the somewhat culty vibes, our reporter excused herself.
More to come.
