Melania Trump can sleep peacefully knowing her income is safe even once the big guy is out of office.
Before her 2005 wedding to Donald Trump, the First Lady spent her first few years of the 21st century trying a bunch of odd jobs here and there.
Modelling, business, architecture - but there were none she loved so much as voice acting.
In that time she would feature in a range of television commercials and children's shows just waiting for her big break.
But right as she’d started to consider just giving up, Melania came across an ad in the New York Times.
The 50 word insert was seeking out the perfect voice for a bluetooth speaker announcement.
Melania knew what she had to do.
She phoned the number up and put herself forward immediately.
Though from there, she could've never imagined the success that’s entailed since.
To this day, Melania’s voice is still being used on cheap, shitty bluetooth speakers all around the world.
“The bluetooth device is ready to pair,” she says in that charming, monotonous drawl.
“The bluetooth device is connected successfully.”
Users of the speaker breathe a sigh of relief. Thanks Melania.
“Honestly sometimes I end up connecting and disconnecting for an hour or so instead of actually listening to music. I just love it, even before I found out it was Melania Trump,” said James, a Betoota Heights resident who purchased his $7 speaker from Kmart in 2021.
Luckily for Melania, an agreement was put in place which sees her take 20% of all speaker sales indefinitely.
And though she declined to comment, an inside source says it gives Melania ‘great peace of mind’ knowing she’ll still be secure post DT presidency.
More to come.
