A local girl is being applauded in her close friends group chat today for putting a line through a bloke who she had suspicions was no good.
After spending the last five years treading water in the dark, gloomy swamp of the current Betoota dating pool, it’s believed 34 year old Lucy Weaving has decided she’s simply not going to waste any more time on dud blokes who aren’t really “Meet the parents at Christmas” material.
The news comes after a particularly tricky weekend, which involved Lucy getting a 1am booty call from one Tate Andrews, a local PT and notable STI trap, who she has been seeing casually this past month.
So after waking up with Tate on Sunday morning, Lucy decided before even tempting a hangover brunch date, she’d sneakily ask to see his Instagram ‘For You’ page and get a proper understanding of the bloke she was pinning her hopes too.
Grabbing Tate’s phone under the guise of “let me find us a cafe”, Lucy slyly flicked over to Instagram and scrolled through Tate’s feed to see wall to wall clips of thirst trap gym girls, AI models with watermelon sized breasts and clips of Manosphere coded influencers speaking into a podcast mic.
Shortly after, The Advocate can confirm Lucy and Tate are no longer in any form of cahoots with one another.
“Girls I’m done. Tate and I are off!” Lucy spat into her group chat, hours later after she had walked herself home, “His entire algorithm was a red flag.”
“It was full of thotty bots with digital enhancements, and some pretty off colour videos of blokes chasing pigs with their dogs.”
“Don’t even get me started on spotting the SnapChat app on his homepage, I couldn’t get out of that man's apartment cum-back shed of his parents house any quicker.”
