A young Betoota man has witnessed a miracle today, after realising a lip balm he bought 3 weeks ago is still in his possession.
24 year old David Whitaker enjoys having a lip balm on him at all times in case of “emergencies.”
“Mum says I get really dry lips cause I breathe mainly through my mouth” David explained.
“So whenever they’re feeling a little chapped, I like to moisturise them.”
“It’s become a bit of a habit actually.”
David usually has to buy a new lip balm every week but on his third week of the same paw paw cream he realised that half the tube was empty.
“I’ve never experienced anything quite like this.”
“I usually fucking leave them everywhere then have to go back to Chemist Warehouse.”
David spent the rest of the day proudly applying his 3 week old lip balm which proved he was a proper adult that can look after his things.
A couple days later however, when looking for panadol in his work bag he found 8 different lip balms at the bottom of his work bag.
“Yeah if anyone wants hardly touched Nivea lip balms I got 8 of them.”
