A Gen Z Woman Who Thought Her Autograph was going to be a much bigger part of her life now only gets it out for the postie.

27 year old Tara Thompson spent a decent part of her childhood perfecting her signature on the whiteboard at school.

“It’s gone through a couple iterations the old autograph, it used to be the full name in cursive when I was young and naive but now it’s like two huge T’s with Thompson written through it in a super chic way” Tara explained.

“Celebrities have to sign hundreds of posters at a time, so you have to be prepared.”

However, when Tara’s singing career ended at year 8 choir solo auditions, she soon realised her autograph wasn’t so important.

“I signed my driver’s licence, then my work contract and then the odd form when I get laser but that’s it.”

“Docusign doesn’t count.”

The most consistent time Tara can use her autograph is when her postman visits to drop off a package.

“It feels the most celebrity out of all the signings cause they give you a pen and you kinda do it hell quick without looking.”

“It’s fucking awesome.”

Tara enjoyed signing for packages so much she’s started ordering most of her things online for the purpose of getting them delivered.

“I’ll do anything for a confidence boost these days.”
