Blues Supremo Laurie Daley has fronted the media today after naming his team for the State of Origin decider.

The man with an impeccable coaching record of one win from 6 series attempts, is set to face a rabid Suncorp crowd pretty keen to send him back south with a 1 from 7 record in a week's time.

To combat that Daley has gone outside the box, naming a rather interesting side that has seemingly kicked the hornet's nest of self-loathing Blues fans.

Daley has gone for his 3rd option this year for the right side backrow and named a bench that is probably barely going to get used.

He's also refused to start the game breaking middle that is Cameron Murray.

However, the biggest selection shock of the year is the decision to drop 4 time premiership winner, 2 time Brad Fittler medal winner, and extremely popular squad member Brian To'o.

Perceived concerns around Bizza's ability under the highball (that are apparently an issue now after 10 years in the NRL) - as well as uncharacteristic errors were speculated as the reason for his dropping.

However, in an exclusive interview with The Advocate, Laurie Daley has revealed a shock reason for the selection bombshell.

"Oh fuck!!!" said Laurie.

"Brian. Fuckkkkkkkk."

"I completely forgot about Brian. How the fuck did I forget about a Brian."

"Shit, is it too late to name him?" he asked our shrugging reporter.

"God, yeah that's bad. I better do something about that."

Daley then refused to confirm or deny whether Bizza might be a late addition to the squad.
