Our neighbours across the dutch (sic) have today developed a new found understanding for US President Donald Trump.
Not normally ones to get involved in global politics, unless it's to do with those pesky frogs, New Zealand is currently sharing an appreciation with the Don.
This comes after the Kiwis were forced to shake hands with the Iranians after a tense and lung busting battle.
Despite coming out strong and landing the first strike early on in the skirmish, the Kiwis then fell into the same trap as US President Donald Trump.
"Yeah, they thought by coming out hard and fast and landing one on the Iranians, they'd won," said Chris Giannis, a local geopolitical and football expert at the Flicked Bean cafe in Betoota's French Quarter.
"But the Iranians never have, and never will go down easy."
Similarly to Trump, the Kiwis were then forced to settle for a draw, after an end to end ding dong battle that gripped all those watching it.
However, thankfully the stalemate between the Kiwis and Iranians hasn't resulted in the global economy being kneecapped and individuals slugged for all their essentials.
Instead, it's left them sitting atop their World Cup ground (on some weird metric) heading into the next round of games.
More to come.
